When I first came to Habib (Shaykh Tauheed) I was very happy to have entered Islam with him and learn many new things from Surat al-Fatiha to prayer to salawat ala Nabi (during sharif) and everything. But for a while I was skeptical about ruhaniyah and mystical knowledge. But after I began to live with him in his home I witnessed many miraculous experiences. I would like to specify two below:

After 1-2 months I was studying a lot for an examination in college at his house. On the day of the exam, I would have slept in, but Alhamdulillah something very amazing happened. I was sleeping and suddenly my pillow was yanked from under me full speed. I was still skeptical, because that is how I was brought up. But after determining how far from the bed my pillow had traveled, there was no chance that I just dropped it or anything like that. SubhanAllah.

Another experience many years later in the same room was at a time I was feeling somewhat depressed. I was trying to fall asleep at night. Before slipping into a state of unconsciousness I remember having my eyes closed and suddenly I felt myself being lifted into the middle of the room. At first I felt

Some concern, but Alhamdulillah I soon felt secure and at peace. I can remember feeling myself being lifted into the middle of the room and then being spun around in circles around the room before falling out of consciousness.

Two years ago a man went to the mosque to get rescue from staying as a homeless refugee from the Tsunami in Sri Lanka. This man was brought to the Shaykh’s home to be catered and taken care of. He stayed with the Shaykh for two months and got a job and  left. He would usually come to collect his letters at the Shaykh’s home, so a month ago he went to Sriilanka, and a week ago  called the Sh. Tauheed and related the following story: 

The man’s cousin’s brother burnt a whole farm of weed, marijuana or hashish, so the cousin was taken to jail. The same young man who came and stayed with the Shaykh  called the latter and requested for dua that they don’t throw him in jail and the hearing was the next day. Shaykh advised him to slaughter a lamb or a goat and call the ustadh or quran and ten Good quran readers and cook the meat and feed the ustadh and his students. This was done, when the cousin who burnt down the farm was given a bail, the locals could hardly believe the verdict as it is very uncommon to have bail in this country.  The locals were enthralled and have asked the Shaykh to prepare for a visit to Sri Lanka as many there wish to meet and receive healing.

I met my friend Tauheed back 3 years ago, and I have seen many generous and miraculous things from him, and I would like to elaborate a little more on this statement I’m making. I am not a believer in these types of healings at least before I actually witnessed them and here is a couple I would like to share with you:

An Iraqi lady and her husband were bewitched. The lady feels like ants crawling at her both legs, and the husband has a bad stomach. I prayed on the coffee beans and the next day he had prayed to Allah to help her. The Ruhans (angels) came and started pulling her ants away, in the morning she woke up fresh and healed of her ailment.

A lady and her husband bought a doll size of Kaydyn (my daughter), for her birthday, 20yrs ago, now what happened the mother of the gal who is now in her 30s still wants the doll, the doll was put in the cupboard, The gal got married living in Calgary, she came for holidays suddenly she said i feel there is something wrong with the doll, so the father and the mother of this gal came to Tauheed to see what is going on, He immediately burnt the doll and the mother was crying, than she suddenly she felt pain on her left waist and she feel down slowly, so he quickly asked Allah to help him and her the Ruhans (ANGELS) came and pulled a Jinn devil out of her , and she felt better

Rasheed Husayn

I have been a mureed  (student) of Shaykh Tauheed for 5 1/2 years now. After a long time going from no guidance to trying hard to find God, Allah guided me to shaykh Tauheed. After a short visit with Habib (Shaykh Tauheed) I embraced Islam, Alhqmdu-li-Allah (thank God) and have studied traditional Islamic practices and spirituality with him. He has been very kind to me and his fellow students. He is extremely generous to all people, even though he is quite poor and has so little of this world himself.

He has treated me like his son and taught me from the very basics of how to stay clean and pure as a Muslim, how to have good conduct and manners that reflect the magnificent etiquette of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, how to worship God, how to pray, how to be a generous person. Also he has taught me how to read the holy Quran in the language it was revealed in (arabic).

Habib is truly a servant of God and I firmly believe that he is a Wali (friend of God). He is very loving and practices and preaches a very peaceful and ancient form of Islam and Islamic mysticism.

My name is Rasheed Hosein(husayn) . I have been a mureed of Aba since about 1999 to present. When I was small about 14 yrs old I was playing in my backyard i was throwing rocks in the bush then I saw the bushes start to shake and I saw this huge looking thing covered in hair like a bigfoot(it was a Jinnn) from that time to about 25-26 i was spiritually sick I was affected by the Jinnn for years i struggled with these thing’s. 

When I started to learn about Islam(I was born a muslim but had no knowledge of Islam none) it became worse and it got worse when I moved down to Vancouver. I really did not know what to do and no one to help me. I asked around but found no one ,then I met a student that is no longer with Aba and that is how I met Aba. So Aba read prayers on me and by Allaahs will I was healed ,during that time I remember he did a coffee bean treatment on me and told me to recite a lot of Salawat on the Prophet ﷺ I went to bed but i was not a sleep i found myself floating on the bed and I heard a deep voice saying everything will be okay and also at that time I dreamt of the Prophet ﷺ wearing a green turban and i kissed his hand until I woke up and also in that dream Aba was in the background serving coffee beans. Aba has taught me everything and he has blessed us all, I remember he always invites people to eat at his house helping them and also many people have been healed with his dua’s. We have learned about the spiritual path about the ruhaniyya knowledge (they are spiritual beings) not angels that aid the Awliya Allah when the heart is clean Allah shows you HIS sign’s from the unseen(many of Aba’s mureeds have seen amazing thing’s.

As far west that Islam has spread far west, I am grateful to Allah and for being in the service of Shaykh Tauheed for over 11 years. He is a true Shaykh of the religion of Islam and is a friend of Allah. He is a representative of the blessed Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and has the real Sufi knowledge of purifying the soul of it’s vices. I have never made Sujood to Shaykh as some people falsely claim. Nor has he ever asked me to bow to any graves. Tariqa is not interested in Hollywood Islam and a bunch of show offs! Shaykh Tauheed is kind, loving, wise, generous and down to earth and not proud. In the presence of Shaykh Tauheed, I have witnessed countless miracles and healings from the practice of Ruhaniya knowledge and the Ziker of Allah. The greatest of these being the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ coming into the room one night that I evoked the Maddad, “call of intervention”. The spiritual knowledge is beyond science and reasoning of the mind. The soul lives beyond death. The sufi arts such as poetry and chanting of zikr are proofs of the authenticity; that Sufism is the true representative of Islam. There are no boundaries or limitations to the goodness of zikr. The best advices Tauheed has given to me, which I hold dearly is Darud Sharif for the Prophet ﷺ and I love the people of Shaykh Hussain Bali in Oromo, Ethiopia. ALLAH HUU! may Allah bless you Habib!

It’s almost been 10 years since I’ve written last. A lot has transpired over that time. It went so fast. I will later recall some of the experiences I have had on this path with Shaykh Tauheed Tufail. So much Ziker and learning. Many healings and miracles have occurred. Nour! Jesh! Shaykh is a blessed man!…. so generous, patient, loving and kind. May Allah bless you Aba!

On the 12 or 13th of this month december i dreamt of shaykh tawheed, in the dream i saw that or murad(need) is granted for the sake of shaykh tawheed i saw riches, rows of cars lined up one after the other and i saw who looked to be someone who struck it rich with oil so on that note may my murad be granted for for the sake of shaykh tawheed
